Clothes in the middle ages

Clothes in the middle ages were very specific.

Most clothes were out of wool which would be worn with undergarments made out of linen.

Brighter colors would normally show the people around the wealth and rich of the person wearing it. The more dull the colors are ( For example black, navy blue, maroon ) the more poor the person wearing it is. Men would normally wear long jackets and trousers and shirts while women would normally wear long flowing gowns. The colors that are mostly worn are green and red ; take in mind that these outfits would normally be worn by people from upper classes while people like us would find anything to wear and we wear it. If your dad or brother is a tailor you may get a better chance of earning something to wear. Thankfully my dad is friends with the town tailor letting us have some clothes of our own. My daily outfit is a long flowing navy blue jacket with a green woolen dress that reaches to my ankles.

As I said before, although it seems that the colors of the outfits we wear our weak and poor at least we have clothes! Other people would walk around the street naked, They would also live in the streets.
